Pet Name: Ketchup

Our corgi Ketchup had emergency IVDD surgery last year due to several herniated discs, she regained her ability to walk post-surgery but still had a lot of weakness in her back legs and would drag her left paw during walks. After starting physical therapy sessions with Dr. Fishman we noticed substantial improvements in her balance, strength, and gait. Dr. Fishman gradually introduced a variety of stretches and exercises that were appropriate for Ketchup’s fitness level as Ketchup regained strength in her back legs giving her more balance and increased mobility.Dr. Fishman also helped us through flare-ups post-surgery via acupuncture and cold laser treatments. Having Ketchup under her care put us at ease during these stressful times. We are so happy to have found Dr. Fishman, not only for her knowledge and expertise but also for her compassion and excellent care.

Pet Name: Molly

Dr. Fishman has done an amazing job caring for my aging lab, Molly, who suffers from both arthritis and neurological deterioration. Molly gets agitated and extremely stubborn at the vet’s office, but having the at-home time with Dr. Fishman was a game-changer. Now she loves her sessions, and I truly believe that Molly’s quality of life has been improved with Dr. Fishman’s creative suggestions on her mobility and pain management. Kelly is also extremely patient with me, as I tend to ask a million questions –many of which are about Molly’s general care, not just her physical therapy. Working with Dr. Fishman was one of the best decisions I have made for Molly, and I would recommend her to any of my friends or family.

Pet Name: Mischief

Mischief was diagnosed with a spinal disorder at 9 months old. She has two fused vertebrae in her neck that at times restrict the flow of spinal fluid to her brain causing her to have neurological symptoms as well as weakness in both her front and back limbs and knuckling of her paws. As a pet parent, it has been very difficult to have a young animal diagnosed with such a serious condition with minimal options for successful treatment. At the suggestion of her neurologist, we turned to Physical Therapy and Acupuncture. I have been so pleased with the results that Dr. Fishman has already been able to achieve in Mischief. Since Dr. Fishman has been working with Mischief we’ve seen great improvement in her body awareness and she has become much less clumsy. Her endurance and ability to maintain a healthy body stance have greatly increased and we can physically see the muscle mass she has gained in both her front and back limbs and has exhibited far fewer neurological symptoms.Dr. Fishman has not only given exceptional treatment to Mischief but has helped me better understand her condition and given me tools and knowledge to keep Mischief as healthy and strong as possible in what will be a lifetime journey to treat her condition.
